Hey man, thanks for the q&a. Just wanted insights on the less spoken topics like ways to deal with costochondritis and similar conditions where inner chest musculoskeletal pain combined with rhomboid and scapular nagging pain. How does one with deal with and strengthen it ? Also linking to the question below, how to deal with hip impingement from squatting ? Many thanks !
Love the Substack. I wonder what your starting recommendation would be for someone to improve hip internal rotation? Getting someone from very limited ROM to something passable. Thanks
Great question – I’m going to answer it and I will post video for paid subscribers on 2 of the “go-to’s” I use for most people to start. Video will be in the description of the podcast. Hip and lower body mobility emphasis exercises is coming next week after the upper body one today
In the combat ready program, can you help explain more about the speed lifting? I am not sure if im doing it right and i guess i dont have a specific question but could you elaborate on details and provide some tips on doing it right?
I dont know for sure how much weight to use because idk my 1rm lifts yet. Should I test 1RM before then do the speed lift with the percentages?
I'll go over the concept on the fly and try to give some tips on how to do this in a variety of situations and how to make it fairly simple if starting out + recommendations if you are not experienced.
The program itself isn't for beginners though, so you can still run it but are more liable to get confused or make errors. I will try to remedy this though and chat about speed work + this is getting its own post in 2023 when the advanced posts come more into play

I’ll address it specifically as I’ve had to deal with costochondritis prior - however the post coming today will probably be useful as well.
both you and the above post asked for things that are coming out and I am editing right now. Weirdly funny timing
